Click on any persona in your workspace to open their full profile. This guide walks you through what you'll find and how to use it.

## The profile

The main content area is a rich research document covering every aspect of your persona. Scroll through sections including demographics, professional background, goals, challenges, jobs to be done, behavioral insights, and a "day in the life" narrative.

This isn't a static card. It's a full text editor. You can edit any section, add your own notes, or restructure content. Changes save automatically and are visible to your entire team.

## The right panel

The right side of the page has a collapsible panel with four tabs. Each one gives you a different way to interact with the persona.

### Chat

Click the **Chat** tab (sparkle icon) to talk directly to the persona. They respond in character based on their full profile.

Try asking:
- "What's the most frustrating part of your workday?"
- "How would you evaluate a new tool like ours?"
- "What would make you switch from your current solution?"

### Comments

Select text in the profile and click the **Comments** tab to start a thread. Your team sees comments in real time and can reply. Use this to flag questions, share observations, or coordinate across product, marketing, and design.

### Contents

The **Contents** tab shows a table of contents built from the profile's headings. Click any section to jump directly to it. Also shows persona properties (product, archetype, key metadata) for quick reference.

### Sources

The **Sources** tab (labeled "Research" in the navigation) lets you strengthen the persona with your own data:

- **Upload files** — Attach interview transcripts, survey results, or research reports
- **Add from Documents** — Link existing Brand Stack documents as reference material
- **Regenerate** — Rebuild the profile incorporating your uploaded sources

Start with the AI-generated profile, then layer in real research over time. The more sources you add, the more grounded the persona becomes.
