Brand profiles are living reference documents that capture everything about a brand’s identity. Paste a URL and Brand Stack analyzes the site to extract color palettes, typography, voice and tone, messaging frameworks, and visual direction.

What’s in a brand profile

Each brand profile includes:

  • Brand Story — Origin, mission, and narrative arc
  • Messaging — Taglines, value propositions, and key messages
  • Colors — Primary, secondary, and accent palettes with hex codes
  • Typography — Font families, weights, and hierarchy
  • Voice & Tone — Communication style, personality traits, and writing guidelines
  • Visual Direction — Design principles, imagery style, and layout conventions
  • Brand Audit — Scoring across consistency, differentiation, and clarity
  • Audience — Target segments linked to your persona sets
  • Logos — Collected from multiple sources with download options

Creating a brand profile

  1. Navigate to Brand in the workspace sidebar
  2. Click Create Brand
  3. Paste any website URL
  4. Brand Stack analyzes the site and generates a complete brand profile

Brand extraction costs 1 credit. You can regenerate individual sections if you want a different take.

Exporting brand guidelines

Export your brand profile in multiple formats:

  • PDF — Multi-page brand guidelines document with all sections
  • CSS Variables — Copy-paste color and typography tokens
  • Tailwind Config — Ready-to-use Tailwind CSS configuration
  • JSON — Structured data for programmatic use
  • Markdown — Plain text for documentation

Free users can view all content. Exporting requires a Brand Stack account.

Publishing and sharing

Share brand profiles with your team or the Brand Stack community:

  • Internal sharing — Copy a view-only link for stakeholders
  • Community publishing — Make your brand profile discoverable at /community/brands
  • Unpublish — Remove from community visibility at any time
