Collaboration & Research
Add comments, collaborate in real time with your team, and upload your own research to refine persona profiles.
Personas aren’t static deliverables. They’re living documents your team collaborates around. The right side panel gives everyone tools to annotate, discuss, and strengthen profiles with real research.
Comments
Select any text in the persona profile, then open the Comments tab to add a comment. Your team members see comments in real time, can reply in threads, and resolve them when addressed.
This turns the persona into a shared workspace. Product can flag questions about behavioral insights, marketing can annotate messaging opportunities, design can note UX implications, and sales can add field observations — all in context, right next to the relevant section.
Real-time collaboration
Multiple team members can view and edit the same persona profile simultaneously. Changes appear in real time. Combined with inline comments, this means your team can run a persona review session asynchronously or live without switching tools.
All plans include unlimited users, so your entire team has access.
Research sources
Open the Sources tab (labeled “Research” in the navigation) to add your own data to a persona.
Upload files
Attach interview transcripts, survey results, research reports, competitive analyses, or any document that adds context. Supported formats include PDFs, text documents, and common file types.
Add from Documents
Link existing documents from your Brand Stack workspace to the persona. If you’ve already generated a research summary, interview guide, or competitive analysis in Brand Stack, you can connect it directly as a source.
Regenerate with sources
After adding sources, use the Regenerate button to rebuild the persona profile incorporating your research data. The more sources you attach, the more specific and accurate the persona becomes.
This is how you move from AI-generated personas to research-grounded personas. Start with Brand Stack’s generated profile, then layer in your own data over time.
