Mockups

Turn a product screenshot into professional product photography. Configure the scene, camera, lighting, and resolution, cast a persona, and generate — try it free without an account.

The Mockup Studio turns a plain product screenshot into professional product photography: your app on a laptop in a sunlit workspace, your dashboard on a monitor in a studio scene, your mobile app in someone’s hand. It’s the fastest way to get launch-ready imagery for landing pages, social cards, decks, and app store listings.

Try it without an account

The studio is open at brandstack.dev/mockups/studio with no sign-in required. Pick a template, upload a screenshot, and configure your shot. When you click Generate, you’ll create an account and your entire configuration — template, screenshot, settings — carries over so nothing is lost.

Configure your shot

Upload a product screenshot — or paste one straight from your clipboard, or pick one from your Screens timeline via Select a Screen on the Device card — then set up the scene:

  • Brand — Choose which brand this mockup belongs to; the studio shows that brand’s logo and filters the persona picker to its personas, and the choice sticks with the mockup everywhere it appears in your workspace
  • Template — Start from a reusable composition made in the Template Studio, or browse community templates
  • Camera angle — How the shot is framed
  • Atmosphere — The lighting and mood of the scene
  • Persona — Cast a persona from your workspace into the shot, so the person using your product matches your actual audience
  • Style reference — Upload an image and its colors, lighting, and mood take over the shot — your camera angle and atmosphere choices become edits to that reference instead of competing with it, while your screenshot stays crisp and legible on the device
  • Aspect ratio — Match the destination: wide for hero sections, square or portrait for social
  • Resolution — 512, 1K, 2K, or 4K output

A live cost summary next to the Generate button shows exactly how many credits the shot will use before you commit — higher resolutions cost more.

Keyboard shortcuts

With the studio focused, you can generate, regenerate, step through your history, and download without touching the mouse. Press ? to open the full shortcuts list.

Watch it generate

While your image renders, the canvas shows an animated generation effect along with the exact prompt Brand Stack sent to the AI, so you can check the shot matches your intent while you wait. The finished image dissolves in, and you can click to zoom. Regenerating reworks the image in place instead of clearing the canvas.

Your history

The history panel keeps every shot from your session, so you can compare variations and go back to an earlier version. Generated mockups are saved to Mockups in your workspace and show up in your recents on the workspace home. Mockups your teammates, the CLI, or an AI agent create appear in your workspace automatically while you have it open — no refresh needed.

Share your work

Once a mockup looks right, the studio toolbar has two ways to send it further:

  • Publish — share the mockup to the community gallery so other teams can browse it, remix it into their own workspace, and see it counted toward “Used N times by the community” on its detail page.
  • Save as template — turn the mockup’s composition (device, camera, lighting, aspect ratio) into a reusable template you can drop any future screenshot into.
