Start a Project
Link your personas, products, and documents into a focused workspace where context flows into everything you create.
Projects tie everything together. When personas, products, and documents live in one project, every document you generate draws from the full context of your customer research.
Create a project
From the sidebar
- Navigate to Projects in the sidebar
- Click New Project
- Name your project (e.g., “Q2 Product Launch” or “Enterprise Segment Research”)
- Select which product it relates to
- Brand Stack automatically links the product’s personas
From a product page
Open any product and click New Project. The product and all its personas are linked automatically. This is the fastest path if you’re already looking at the product you want to work on.
Add documents
Inside your project, click Create to generate a new document, Upload to add an existing file, or Add to link a document from elsewhere in your workspace.
Documents created inside a project automatically use the linked persona and product context during generation. This is the key advantage: a competitive analysis written inside a project evaluates competitors through the lens of what your specific customers value, not generic feature comparisons.
Project ideas
Here are a few ways to use your first project:
Quick start: Strategy kit
Create a project for your product’s primary audience. Generate three documents:
- Product Brief — What you’re building and why
- Competitive Analysis — How alternatives compare from your customer’s perspective
- Messaging Framework — Value propositions in your customer’s language
Three documents, 3 credits, and you have a grounded strategy kit in minutes.
Research sprint
Spin up a project to consolidate customer research. Link your personas, upload interview transcripts via the persona Sources tab, and generate an Interview Guide and Research Summary. Everything lives in one place.
Feature development
Create a project for a major feature. Link the personas who’d use it most. Generate a PRD and user stories that reflect real customer goals, not assumed requirements.
Sharing
Projects can be published to the Brand Stack community where other teams can discover and learn from your approach to customer understanding.
